Attafuah Senior High School is in dire need of support from the government. The school lacks desks, has an unroofed girls' dormitory, inadequate water supply, and a shortage of food. These issues are affecting the quality of education and the well-being of the students.
The lack of desks in the school is a major problem. Students have to sit on the floor or share desks, which makes it difficult for them to concentrate during lessons. This has a negative impact on their academic performance and their overall learning experience.
The unroofed girls' dormitory is also a major concern. The girls are exposed to the elements, which can affect their health and well-being. It also makes it difficult for them to study and sleep comfortably, which can have a negative impact on their academic performance.
The inadequate water supply is another issue that needs urgent attention. The school relies on a single borehole for its water supply, which is not enough to meet the needs of the students and staff. This has led to water shortages and poor sanitation, which can lead to health problems.
The shortage of food is also affecting the students' well-being. Many students come from low-income families and rely on the school's feeding program for their daily meals. However, the program is often underfunded, which means that students do not receive enough food to sustain them throughout the day.
We are therefore appealing to the government to provide support to Attafuah Senior High School. We need desks for the students, roofing for the girls' dormitory, an adequate water supply, and funding for the feeding program. These issues are affecting the quality of education and the well-being of the students, and urgent action is needed to address them.
We got to know that the project has been given out to the contractor but yet still the problem has not being attend to.
Investing in educatin is investing in the future of our country. We cannot afford to neglect our schools and our students. We need to provide them with the resources they need to succeed and achieve their full potential. We hope that the government will hear our plea and provide the support that Attafuah Senior High School needs.
